The hulled rice enters the machine milling chamber via feed hopper 1 where a rotating abrasive grinder is used to whiten the grains of rice.
When the preset milling time is over, gate 2 is opened and the milled rice goes into tray 3.
Sieving may subsequently be effected to remove broken and immature grains using purpose-built manual screens which are available on request.
The laboratory whitening machine mod. TM-05 has an inverter so that the rotating speed of the abrasive grinder can be adjusted correctly.
