ST series dry stone separators are used in the agri-food industry to remove stones from cereals or dry pulses.
The special structure of the grids and the jet of air generated by the aspirator underneath remove all very small stones, pieces of glass and small metal objects.

OPERATING
The product is fed into the machine and spread onto the separating grid by the adjustable diffuser plate.
While being milled, the product which has a lower specific weight than stones floats on an air cushion created by an aspirator placed under the separating grid. The stones which have a higher specific weight remain on the grid which is shaped in such a way that they rise and are then removed from the machine.
The product with all stones removed drops down, is discharged from the machine and goes on to subsequent milling operation.
