The Puff Machine mod. PM6/90C is a six-station press for manufacturing cereal cakes which is both solidly built and highly functional. The pressing plant is fully hydraulic which means that the machine can manufacture cakes made of different types of cereals including those which are difficult to process without the need for long and complicated alterations to be carried out. All you need to do is press the working pressure knob and vary the cereal cooking time to obtain the cake you require in just a few seconds.
The machine is completely controlled by a PLC and can be fully customized by interacting with the PLC and modifying some of its functions.

OPERATING
Once the machine feed hopper has been correctly filled with the cereal or cereal mixture and the cake moulds have reached the necessary temperature (250°C approx.), start the machine by pressing the start button.
Using the programme installed on its PLC, the machine moves the feeder plate which then conveys the right amount of product to the moulds.

The moulds press and heat the selected cereal for a few seconds. Once the set heating time has elapsed, they open and the cereal expands to form the cake.
At this point the feeder plate ejects the cake and supplies the moulds with more cereal so that another cake manufacturing cycle can be effected.
