FT series horizontal whitening machines are used to remove the husk from grains of rice at the end of the whitening process because thanks to their special “friction” whitening process make the grains of rice more shiny and even.
Inside the hexagonal section milling chamber a specially shaped steel roll which rotating allow the grains of rice to rub together making the surface even.
A jet of air emitted in the milling chamber helps the husk to be discharged from the chamber keeping the operating temperature low.
The degree of whitening can be simply and practically regulated by adjusting a series of weights on the rod connected to the product outlet gate so that the product remains more or less time in the milling chamber.
