AM series horizontal whitening machines are used to remove husk from grains of rice thanks to the abrasive action of rotating grinders in the milling chamber consisting of a series of perforated grids.

CHARACTERISTICS
- solidly and compactly built
- easy to use and adjust
- minimum scheduled maintenance

Whitening is effected by rotating abrasive grinders in the milling chamber consisting of a series of perforated grids which allow the husk which has been removed from the grains of rice to be discharged.
A jet of air between one grinder and another keeps the operating temperature low so that the rice breakage rate does not increase.
A series of adjustable steel brakes in the milling chamber reduces the speed of the grains of rice and allows them to be processed correctly.
The degree of whitening can be simply and practically regulated by adjusting a series of weights on the rod connected to the product outlet gate so that the product remains more or less time in the milling chamber.
